Prakash Chemicals Europe B.V., The Netherland

In 2010 EU contributes 23% of total sales of PCIPL, so it has become imperative for us to take EU operations to bigger scales. With a broader objective of going "Close to Customer" for strengthening our relationship and make our foundation stronger in EU we have established Joint venture company Prakash Chemicals Europe B. V. (PCEBV) in Nov-2010. The major immediate goals for PCEBV are as follows:

REACH : We understand our responsibilities as a supplier under REACH. We are currently supplying various substances for application in five different Industries in European Union, like Plastic & Rubber, Paint & Coating, Flavor & Fragrance. PCEBV would play the desired role by ECHA in fulfilling REACH obligations for PCIPL as a regular suppliers and PCEBV as associate company.

Distribution : We are dealing in mainly commodity chemicals, which are becoming more and more volatile due to various factors. With an objective of serving all our customers with “Right Product at Right Time” we are intend to start stocking of our bulk liquid chemicals at strategic ports in EU. Our valued customers can pick up product from ready stocks and minimize inventory and delivery time and risk attached to price volatility. Initially we will be stocking three of our strong products : Ethyl Acetate, Benzyl Alcohol and Chloro Paraffins.

Sourcing : Complementing to our existing strong presence in world’s fastest growing markets for chemicals like India, Middle East (UAE) and East Africa (Kenya) we are actively looking for principals from European Union to represent their companies and products in this markets.
